The documents you need for business funding
The standard pack, why each document is asked for, and the ones that most often come back for re-work.
The core pack
CIPC registration documents, ID for every director, proof of business address, six months of business bank statements and, for larger amounts, annual financial statements and recent management accounts.
What gets sent back
Financial statements that are unsigned, or older than about 18 months. Management accounts older than three months. Bank statements with gaps between months. IDs that are cropped or unreadable.
If you don't have financial statements
Smaller advances can often go ahead on bank statements alone. For term loans and banks, signed statements are usually required. An accountant on the GoFund panel can prepare them inside your application, at a fixed quoted price.

GoFund prepares and submits applications on your behalf; it is not a credit provider. Every amount, rate, turnaround and qualifying rule belongs to the finance house concerned, differs between them, and can change without notice. Only a finance house can approve credit.
